Happy New Year! We hope this email finds you in great spirit and ready for the next semester. WRBLSA is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the Western Region Convention to be held in San Francisco, CA, Wednesday, February 14 through Sunday, February 18. Room rates are $169 per night for a standard double.

You can expect great workshops, an elegant reception hosted at the Museum of the African Diaspora and a fabulous Banquet Gala. To maximize your time spent in the Bay Area, we left Thursday open to allow students time to schedule interviews with prospective employers.

Are you interested in serving on the Western Region Board? All officer positions will be up for election. Western Region Chair will serve on the National Board. To submit a candidate statement, please email me at western@nblsa.org for an application. Candidate submissions will be due no later than Thursday, February 15.
