Frequently Asked Questions:

1. Where will we stay?
In condos at Lakeland Village (2 bedrooms, 1.5 bath).

2. Where will we ski/snowboard?
At Heavenly Resort.

3. How will we get from Lakeland Village to Heavenly Resort to ski/snowboard?
A shuttle comes every 20 minutes during skiing hours or by private shuttle upon request.

4. How many people to a condo?
Generally, 4 or 5 people to a condo.

5. Can we request our roommates?
Yes, by emailing nblsawrnorth@yahoo.com, every effort will be made to satisfy your request, however it will NOT be guaranteed.

6. What is Lakeland's Address?
3535 Lake Tahoe Blvd.,
Lake Tahoe, CA 96150.

7. What is Heavenly's Physical Address?
Heavenly Mountain Resort
Corner of Wildwood and Saddle
South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150.

8. What is the nearest airport?
Reno/Tahoe International Airport (RNO)
2001 East Plumb Lane,
Reno, NV 89502.

9. What is check-in/check-out time?
Check-in is 4:00 pm on Friday, January 12 and check-out is 11:00 am on Monday, January 15, 2007.

10. Will there be any "mixers"?
Yes, there will be "socials/mixers" sponsored by NBLSA and BGSA (Black Graduate Student Association).

11. Will transportation be provided to Lakeland Village?
No, our suggestion would be to carpool with others in your area attending the trip.

12. What options are there for evening activities?
